The Dock is the floating widget that appears in the bottom-right corner of your website and product. It serves as a central, accessible point for your end-users to engage with your support tools, such as the Chat and Help Center. The behavior and appearance of the Dock are managed from your Project Settings page.
The Dock isn't a standalone feature; it becomes visible automatically when one of its core components is active. You can enable these features in the Project Settings page.
To display the Dock, you must enable at least one of the following options within the Dock section:
Chat: Display the chat support widget for your users.
Help Center: Display the help center (knowledge base) widget.
If both are enabled, the Dock will act as a single entry point for both tools.
You can easily customize the look of the Dock to match your brand's aesthetic directly from the Project Settings page.
In the Customize Dock colors section, you can set the Primary color and Secondary color using hex codes.
The Preview pane on the right shows you a real-time example of how the Dock button will look with your chosen colors.
The Project Settings page is also where you manage the core features of your Overcentric integration. In the Integration section, you can toggle key functionalities with a simple checkbox, including:
Debug mode: To log messages to the browser console.
Auto track: To automatically track user events.
Replay recording: To capture user session replays.
Error capture: To automatically track JavaScript errors.
